The Monterey County Rape Crisis Center (MCRCC) is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to provide ongoing advocacy, support and healing for all victims and survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse; and to prevent sexual violence in our community through education.

Incorporated in 1995, P4P is a 501c3 dedicated to giving parents/caregivers tools to build healthy, thriving families! 100% of the families that complete a parenting class would recommend the class to other parents.

First 5 Monterey County

First 5 Monterey County

First 5 works to diversify and increase funding for early childhood development; enhance access to resources, programs, and services for young children and their families through community-based coordination, collaboration, and integration; and inform, inspire, and facilitate the adoption of practices countywide and policies at the local, state and national levels that support early childhood development.

Wonder Wood Ranch

Wonder Wood Ranch

Wonder Wood Ranch, a 501(c)3 charity, provides therepeutic services with horses and other ranch animals to help and support kids with high trauma, such as survivors of violent crime, sexual assault, abuse, human trafficking, etc. We aim to bring Hope on Hooves to kids and youth to help them overcome obstacles and become healthy, hopeful members of our community.

Prescribe Safe Monterey

Prescribe Safe Monterey

The Monterey County Prescribe Safe Initiative is a multi-organizational collaborative effort among multiple Monterey County organizations. This initiative works to improve safety of prescription drugs, reduce inappropriate prescribing of pain medications and sedatives while increasing the use of complementary pain management therapies, increase access to treatment for addiction and teach the public and medical professionals about the potential dangers of prescription drugs and other substances.

The Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council Coalition

The Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council Coalition

For over 30 years Child Abuse Prevention Councils have led the way in the effort to prevent child abuse and neglect in every county in California. The Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council Coalition represents ten counties coordinating resources, advocating for public policy, producing conferences, and sharing best practices.

Since 1997, the Monterey County Youth Museum (MY Museum) has provided children with an unparalleled learning experience. MY Museum began as a Junior League project and has since evolved into a community-based, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. MY Museum provides an environment where curiosity and creativity flourish, while both children and adults discover the thrill of lifelong learning. Monterey County CAPC partners with MY Museum in distribution of Discovery and Play Kits to all Monterey County communities and to support taking the Museum on the road for pop-up exhibits.
